I've been listening to Joe Lovano and Hank Jones play "Budo" by Bud Powell on Sirius and this cut just kills me! Joe's tenor sound is great and has so much character and they both swing like krazy! Who are your favorite sax players?

"Way Out" CD
Hi John: The "Way Out" CD is great. I listened to it all the way home and again this morning and I know I'll be hearing it more in the future. Great variety and great arrangements. I thought "Mr Danger" was really humorous. You described it as "smooth jazz" which gives me a negative response- I think of smooth jazz as jazz for people who don't like music or they think of music as wallpaper for the ears- elevator music. "Way Out" is not like that. I've had other CD's by "name" smooth jazz artists and they went in the trash....love this "Way Out." Thanks for the music...
