Budo Swings!
Hi all:
I've been listening to Joe Lovano and Hank Jones play "Budo" by Bud Powell on Sirius and this cut just kills me! Joe's tenor sound is great and has so much character and they both swing like krazy! Who are your favorite sax players?
My favorite saxists are dead. except for a couple of locals, John Paulson and Greg Balfany. But, then I enjoy working with Eric Schneider, too.... hummm.... and Houston Person, and Kim Cusack.
